The general idea is to build a platform all about cars. Most other platforms are quite overwhelming, forums look like they got stuck in 2000. With Whipbase we try to bring a more modern experience to the car community.

A Postfeed is nothing new and places to discuss things online are plentiful, but both combined with some extras tailored around cars leads us to this: A place for car enthusiasts to discuss their cars, share their experiences, and connect with others.

But there is more to come! We are working on a lot of new features and ideas to make Whipbase the best place for car enthusiasts.

One of the key features of Whipbase is the ability to add your car with some basic information. Adding your car will create a profile page and your car will be able to have posts tied to it.

Basically you can now post step by step the story of your car and share it. For convenience you can share a QR code to quickly lead to your car profile. We generate them through the whole platform on posts, cars, quests etc. available by using the three dots menu!

We are working on more features for adding detailed information about your car while still keeping everything under your control and respecting your privacy. Those things are most important to us.

Generally posts are the same as on other platforms. Add up to 4 images, write a caption, maybe add some tags and post it!

But there are some rules here - Keep it related to cars! You can post something and tie it to one of your cars by selecting it from the gallery or just post something which is not related to any of your cars by selecting your user gallery. Don't post anything that is not related to cars, don't post any ads, links or other BS.

Unlike most other platforms, comments always stay in the timeline. If you want to go in depth and follow a conversation, you can use the "show context" button to see the conversation in context.

The place where Whipbase is more like a forum. You can use Quests to discuss things or ask questions but keep it related to cars or the platform itself.

Just like posts, quests can be tied to your car or your profile by selecting it from the gallery or just posting it to your user gallery. This helps with sorting and finding quests related to your car or profile.
